Academy Principal  – Chris Byrne

As Academy Principal and main tutor, Chris has a vast knowledge of Acupuncture & Traditional Chinese Medicine, ranging from Deep tissue massage skills  to a full range of Chinese Herbal Medicine.
Holding a Masters Degree (MSc) in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, Chris has lead many training events in Clinical Acupncture, Infertility Acupuncture, Cupping, Moxibustion, clinical assessment, and pain management, to name a few.

During his time as a therapist, Chris has been proud to be a member of the governing council for the FHT – Federation of Holistic Therapists,of which he held the Presidents position for over four years, and represented the International Council of Acupuncture Therapists.

Having had clinical experience at both the Hei Ping Lee Hospital, and the prestigious Beijing Academy of Oriental Medicine, in Beijing China, Chris has trained with the best from East and West in Acupuncture & Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Chris is a KORE Master practitioner and has lectured in Acupuncture at academic establishments such as Blackburn University, and is the Northern UK representative for the Academy of Oriental Medicine.

Still a student at heart, Chris continues to develop his own expertise with continual personal training, whilst running a thriving clinic in the heart or Cheshire.
